1975 Fernandes Japan “Burny Bass” FJB-50 Jazz Bass (Vintage White)

Description Japanese made by Fernandes in 1975, this FJB-50 came to us from a professional player who has it loaded with flatwounds and a foam mute mounted on the bridge cover (easily removable) to give it a beautifully vintage and rounded bass tone. Gloss vintage white finish on the body with a maple neck/fingerboard wearing black block inlays and binding (7.25″ radius, 38mm nut width), it weighs 4.6kg’s. Appears all original including both pickup and bridge covers and the rosewood thumb rest. Great used condition as pictured with only very mild signs of wear and tear from basic use over the last 40 years. The hardware is all shiny with very little patina and the finish on the neck and body is shiny and smooth. The neck is straight and the truss works as it should, frets play well with plenty of life.
