Her favourite subject in school was always art, and in her spare time she was constantly looking for something to make. Her greatest lesson in art came when she started an An Artwork A Day project. After leaving University, like many graduates, she could not find a job in her field.  She made a pact to begin painting every day for a full year, beginning January 1, 2015.  She didn’t miss a single day, and as a result, has amassed an enormous portfolio of artwork, but more importantly, developed herself as an artist. Niki now works from her home studio in Carlisle, ON. Niki and her husband, Jordan, also own and operate The Carlisle Cider Co. as well as Lost Vineyards, a winery based in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
